  6. Frank has known his own share of hurt on
  7. his way to the major leagues.

  9. The first year Frank tried out for his high 
  10. school baseball team, he was cut. He
  11. worked hard to make the team the next
  12. season, batted .472, and led Columbus
  13. (Georgia) High School to its first state title. 
  14.  
  15. Frank had a great high school career (he 
  16. was ColumbusΓÇÖs Player of the Year and a 
  17. first team all-state selection), but not one
  18. major league team selected him in the 
  19. 1986 amateur draft.  So Frank accepted
